The Sphere Project is out-of-box visual experiment - unique and expressive, mixing elements typical for gallery-portfolio-game-showcase applications into one-of-a-kind web experience. Despite its deceivingly simple looks, it offers you fun interactive experience - you can play with spheres, bounce them around, interact them with others. It’s also very physical - you can sense the weight, acceleration and force. Playing with them is like playing endless game of pool.
All the spheres are actually separate areas that hide dozens of projects. All you have to do is drag one of them into the middle of the screen in order to open it. Upon opening, original sphere becomes the centre of another sphere, that is consisted of individual projects within the category that you can look into. You are also presented with basic information about project as well as the latest comments. Note that you can post comments and rate projects via Facebook connect.
The Sphere project is very intuitive and fun to use and represents experimental approach to web presentations.
