• IED website update

    • 7 March 2011
    • As you already might know, fleka is the creator of the IED site which you can read about at our project section here. In the meantime IED suffered structural alterations on many levels that have had to be reflected on the website - their most prominent media outlet. We have been collaborating with IED since November in order to design and implement the modifications and we’re proud to announce that we deployed website changes few weeks ago. However, work with the website of IED’s volume is never done, and you can expect more fine-tuning in the upcoming period.

      New Changes

IED has changed much about its core structure which affects the way users browse the site and how site communicates with database. It has been done so for better hierarchy of information as well as marketing purposes. In the previous version of the site user was able to search for courses via city pages, but changes enabled her to find the most suitable courses either via new country pages or an app for courses.

An app is the interesting one - user can communicate her fields of interest and location preferences and have immediate results about courses best suited to her liking. Considering most of the people nowadays are on the go, app is in the process of being optimized for mobile devices, with the accent on iPhone and iPad optimization.

As far as the design goes, we’ve created new graphics for country pages as well as school pages, enriched with additional graphic elements, such as icons.
